Mill Hill appoints new minister

New recruit built up a young Orthodox community in Berlin

Rabbi David Rose will next week join Mill Hill Synagogue as assistant minister, working alongside Rabbi Yitzchak Schochet.

After completing a degree in management, he spent nearly nine years in Israel, where he received his semichah from the Jerusalem Kollel.

He was engaged by the Ronald S Lauder Foundationin 2005 to build a young Orthodox community in Berlin for recent immigrants from the former Soviet Union.

Returning to England in 2015, he now lives in Edgware with his wife Talya and children. He is involved in various community projects and speaks regularly at local shuls and schools.
