The deli at the heart of Liverpool's kashrut crisis is back under kosher supervision.

Roseman’s has received a licence from Liverpool Kashrut Commission under the new ownership of Vidal Maman after a period without supervision.

In June, the LKC instituted emergency measures to provide kosher food for communal facilities after the deli, the city’s only kosher meat supplier, was found to have received regular orders of non-kosher meat for a number of years.

The move also followed the sudden death of Robert Kaye, 43, the then owner of Roseman’s.
