A statement to the community on behalf of the kashrut authority and Merseyside Jewish Representative Council expressed delight “that the community, once again, has access to fully kosher supplies of food, under proper supervision. The shop has been re-koshered according to Orthodox Jewish law and the stock has been thoroughly reviewed.
“The business also has the full approval of the Chief Rabbi who, as you know, made a personal visit to Liverpool, along with Dayan Menachem Gelley of London Beth Din.
“It is a great testimony to the sense of unity and commitment within our community that we have been able to get to this point so quickly and can look to the New Year with such positivity.”
