Israel’s largest state-of-the-art special education school and rehabilitative centre designed to “totally transform” disability care has had its building dedicated.

The Bet Chayil building in Bnei Brak was dedicated by long-time supporters of ALEH – an Israeli charity which specialises in care for children with severe complex disabilities – Leo and Susan Noé, who dedicated it to Mr Noé’s parents, Salomon and Ruchi.

Rabbi Lord Johnathan Sacks also joined them for a Torah inauguration, mezuzah hanging and celebrations, which included a procession where hundreds of local residents joined in to embrace the ALEH residents, sing and dance with the new Torah.
