Limmud, the educational charity, was founded in 1980. It held its first conference a year later at Carmel College in Oxfordshire. Since then it has expanded to become a global phenomemon, making it Anglo-Jewry’s must successful export. Last year, the Limmud calender was full of events stretching from Canada to China — no fewer than 28 countries across five continents played host to activities attracting thousands of people. Here's where the Lummudniks gathered over the past 12 months.
