Leaders of Stapely Care say the Liverpool home has been taken out of special measures by the Care Quality Commission following an unannounced three-day reinspection of its premises.
The home was placed in special measures earlier this year after the CQC rated it inadequate overall, finding “no effective management and oversight of the service”.
According to trustee Philip Ettinger, the problems were "virtually 100 per cent clerical" and had been rectified.
Mr Ettinger said the senior inspector had praised the efforts of the entire staff, led by senior manager designate Shirley Smith, to improve matters.
The CQC will publish its full report later this month.
“To come out of special measures after less than six months is a wholly remarkable achievement," Mr Ettinger added.
"The trustees are delighted to say it is 'business as usual' once more as we concentrate on serving our local Jewish and wider communities with an ever-widening range of facilities and services."
