“After my win I was contacted by Sarma Woolf, the organiser of TNT Comedy, asking if I would headline on January 31, and of course I said yes”, Ms Harris said.
“I’ve performed at TNT comedy before, but never as a headline act. I’m very excited because it’s a great step towards progressing my comedy career.”
The comedian, who grew up in Edgware, north-west London, has recently set up an online group which aims to publicise all “bargain comedy nights in London.”
“It’s a Facebook page for comedy lovers on a budget”, she said, “to try and raise awareness that there are a lot of great open mic nights out there where newer acts start out, for example. Comedy doesn’t always have to be expensive.”
