Book dinner with Burchill

articlemain

Julie Burchill is planning to commit her longstanding love affair with the Jewish people to print. But the publication of "Unchosen: the Memoirs of a Philosemite" may depend on your help.

She has opted to “crowd-fund” it with publishers Unbound, which underwrites its books through online pledges of financial support from readers.

You can pledge anything from £10 to £1,000. A £350 offer will earn you a hardback edition, a launch invitation and the chance to join the author for a “small Israeli-style Shabbat celebration at a Jewish restaurant in London”.
