Amy Winehouse’s mother has criticised the late singer's ex husband for disrespecting the Jewish faith after he was filmed giving an interview at her grave.
Janis Winehouse said Blake Fielder-Civil's action, alongside his failure to wear a kippah at the Jewish cemetery, had disgusted her.
She said: “To film beside a grave shows total disrespect. I want nothing to do with this.
“He is entitled to visit the grave, he disrespects our religion by not covering his head, and as for an interview in a sacred place that disgusts me.
“He is entitled to grieve but please, not in public three years too late.”
Liberal Judaism has apologised to the family. The movement owns the section of the cemetery where the singer is buried.
Mr Fielder-Civil posed crouching at the side of Ms Winehouse's grave, which she shares with grandmother Cynthia Levy, at Edgwarebury Lane Cemetery in Edgware, n orth London.
The singer's father, Mitch Winehouse, was also shocked by the incident.
The former cabby wrote on his Twitter page: “Blake gave interview at Amy's grave? Please tell me it's not true. Mitch.”
In a interview filmed for YouTube Mr Fielder-Civil expressed his remorse over the star's death at the age of 27.
He said: “I feel responsible for her death. There’s lots of reasons why it’s taken me so long to visit. I was scared to come.
“Maybe she would not have done as many drugs over the years if she had not met me.”
The Back to Black singer died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011.
