The Union of Jewish Students has put together its new executive team to start work on campuses around the country later this year.
Dozens of candidates applied for the available positions, which cover all aspects of Jewish life on campus.
New roles have been created in order to offer the most effective support to students. The new UJS president, Daniel Grabiner, was elected at the end of 2010 and will take up his role in mid-July. Richard Verber, current director of education and programmes, will become development director.
They will work alongside new campaigns director Daniel Sheldon, who studies at LSE, and communications director Charlotte Karp.
The policy and public affairs role will be filled by Oxford University's Vincent Knowles. Emily Black, former Durham JSoc co-chair, will become London officer, with Sussex's Judith Flacks working with developing JSocs.
Emma Stone becomes membership officer, with Matt Keston, currently central development officer, shifting to take on the UJIA MASA fieldworker job.
Daniel Grabiner said: "The next year is going to be challenging and exciting, but I am confident that this team can build on previous successes and continue to make UJS a vibrant and effective union for students."
