Money raised for hospice

Members of Southend and District Reform Synagogue have responded to publicity in the local press highlighting a funding shortage at Westcliff’s Fair Havens Hospice. To raise funds, a supper quiz, which attracted more than 90 people, raised £900 for Fair Havens. Organisers included Sue Levitas, Denise and Ken Phillips and quizmaster Sybil Greenstein.
