Rabbi Dr Tony Bayfield, Head of the Movement of Reform Judaism, his daughter Rabbi Miriam Berger and his grandchildren will all take part in Akiva School's Mitzvah Day Fayre.
Children will be making cards for soldiers, collecting nappies for asylum seekers, making holiday boxes for children in need and planting pots to be distributed to the elderly.
Families from the Akiva school will also listen to presentations by members of the school and local community who volunteer their own time on regular basis to good causes.
