Matt Lucas to star in Dr Who festive special

Matt Lucas is to appear in the Doctor Who Christmas Special.

The Little Britain star will reprise the role of River Song's former assistant Nardole, which he first appeared as in last year’s Christmas special. And the comic actor will continue playing the part in the new series of the hit BBC show.

"I'm chuffed to bits that Nardole is returning to the Tardis for some more adventures," Mr Lucas said.
