A onetime kosher food buyer for Tesco has become the second Jewish casualty of this year’s Apprentice.
Former JFS pupil Melissa Cohen, 27, was fired by Lord Sugar after retailers described her as "annoying". She was also criticised for being argumentative and for her weak pitching skills.
She had survived as project manager the previous week in a task which saw her and her fellow Jewish hopefuls, Jamie Lester and Alex Epstein, baking and selling bagels.
However Synergy, under Mr Lester’s leadership, lost this week’s task, which involved selling new products to major retailers.
