Finchley Reform member Debra Brunner power-walked four marathons in London and Belarus to raise more than £3,000 for its twin Belarus community, Polotsk Etrog.

Ms Brunner began the challenge by completing three marathons in three days in the capital, joined on the final walk by fellow FRS congregants Julius Judah, Jake Brunner, Charlie Sassienie, Bett Demby and Holly Weiss.

A week later, Mr Judah, Mr Sassienie and Ben Burman walked with her in Polotsk, alongside members of the local community, "a real opportunity to get involved in a fundraiser - a first for them.

"We were supporting Polotsk to help them buy some new tables and chairs and carry out desperately needed repairs to their community centre. They walked in support of their own nominated charity, the Union of Councils for Soviet Jewry.
