Efraim Zinger is confident Israel’s athletes will come good on week two of the 2012 London
Olympics.

The Head of Delegation was satisfied with performances on the opening week, saying “there were some disappointments and achievements”.

Zinger described Alice Schlesinger’s run in the judo competition as “heroic” and remains quietly confident.

He said: “We’re optimistic, We’re still looking at three majors sports in judo, sailing and windsurfing. The time to reflect is after the closing ceremony.”
