WIJPS girls Years 5 and 6 finished runners-up at the Redbridge Borough seven-a-side football festival.
Playing in a 15-team event, WIJPS finished the group stages unbeaten with two wins and two draws. Isabella Roukin and Libby Herst were their scorers.
They won their semi-final thanks to a sudden-death strike from Sophie Glendenning before losing 4-0 in the final. The impressive run ensured qualification for the Essex County tournament.
