There were goals galore at the Maccabi GB Primary League finals at Wingate & Finchley on a day when the results all went the way of the form book.

Seven teams lined up for the junior football showpiece that separated the men from the boys.

The finals took place a year after the future of the Jewish youth game in London looked in doubt following the demise of the AJY League. Since then, a number of players joined the revamped Maccabi league with supporters treated to a real sporting spectacle at the Abrahams Stadium.

HISHU White took a big step towards clinching the double when they beat Hendon Hawks 4-1 in the Bill Orkin Trophy. Lying top of the league and unbeaten in 11 games, goals from Jeremy Ullman, Simon Misrahi, Gavi Deutsch, Raphael Meyers eased them past their nearest rivals. Jamie Davila grabbed a consolation for the Hawks.
