Flixton joint-manager Delonte said: “We are looking good going into a bit of a break. We are on the coattails of Manchester Maccabi 1st and we are looking strong.
"There’s goals coming from all areas but there is also some steel there when we need it.
"I can’t fault the players. They continue to give their all and are being rewarded."
Flixton remain second but closed the gap on Tony Gellman’s side to just one point at the summit.
The title race remains in the balance but Delmonte said: “With a game in hand it’s still in our hands and that’s the way we want to keep it.
"Of course there’s a long way to go with plenty of twists and turns. You can’t look too far ahead. But we are handily placed at this stage."
