Ray Tammam says his Manchester Maccabi side only have themselves to blame after collapsing to a seven-run defeat in their final game of the season.

Having dismissed Wilmslow for a paltry 63, Maccabi could muster just 56 in reply as their challenge faltered at the death in the Greater Manchester Amateur League.

Not even a stellar bowling performance from Steve Allweis, who took four wickets, could save Maccabi’s blushes as they slumped to another painful defeat.

"It was the last game of the season and so I was happy to move the batting order around,” said Tammam.
