Watford loan deal delights Ohayon

Haviv Ohayon expressed delighted after joining Watford on a one-year loan deal from Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The Israeli under-19 goalkeeper sealed his move on deadline day and his club will receive a loan fee of €100,000. Watford will have an option to sign Ohayon next summer for €2.5 million.

Ohayon, who signed a five-year contract with Maccabi last month on his 18th birthday, will play for the Watford under-21 team during the 2016/17 season. He holds a Romanian passport meaning were no work permit issues.

Ohayon said: "I want to thank everybody at Maccabi for helping me develop as a goalkeeper and especially sports director Jordi Cruyff who has let me promote career in England.
