London Maccabi Lions A  2-3  Glenthorne United A

A magnificent display from Glenthorne's Lewis Walker was the difference between these two sides in a fantastic game at Rowley Lane to start the new Maccabi League campaign.

Walker scored twice and set up the third after a magnificent solo run for teammate Daniel Lassman to score late on to send the visitors home with maximum points.

Glenthorne, last season's Division One champions, started well. Walker made his intentions clear from the off when he tested Lions keeper Daniel Pauwen from long range.
