Runaway leaders Leeds JNF J-Uni maintained their 17-point lead at the top of the Manchester Jewish Soccer League’s Joan Collins Premier Division after hammering Sporting JLGB 8-0.

Elliot Wallis (3) led the way with Paul Harris (2), Adam Lemon (2) and Josh Rubin wrapping up the team’s 14th win in 15 matches.

Second-placed Oakhill Lions, who have three games in hand, were also convincing winners. They mauled Westdene Reserves 7-1, courtesy of goals from Daniel Cohen (3), Yishai Last (2), Alex Bloch and Jonny Ison. Adam Berman replied.

Crumpsall were also emphatic winners, putting eight past Manchester Maccabi 4th. Zev Landsman grabbed the headlines with four goals including a first-half hat-trick. Yossi Saunders (3) and Gav Cohen completed the rout. Martin Simons grabbed Manchester’s consolation.
