He's been dubbed the miracle man after saving Barnet from relegation and now Giuliano Grazioli is hoping to finish the season with silverware with HMH.
The former Bees marksman took over as caretaker-manager at Underhill following the shock departure of Martin Allen. Having masterminded a 1-0 win over Port Vale last weekend, the man nicknamed Graz will join the boys from Highgate & Muswell Hill Under 14s as they look to clinch silverware against Manchester Maccabi at Oldham Athletic.
Grazioli was one of the coaches provided to HMH and Brady Maccabi's youth teams through the Barnet FC Committee Trust. He started working with the team just before Christmas.
Working closely with manager Avi Goldberg, Grazioli hopes to sprinkle some magic dust one more time.
He said: "At times, my role with HMH helped take my mind off things at Barnet. The banter is great and we've had lots of fun and laughter along the way.
"Avi has done a fantastic job. He's well respected by the players and knows his football. He's always bouncing ideas off me and the boys have responded well. They deserve to be in the final. I've loved every minute working with them."
It may not be long until he is given the freedom of Barnet after being carried off the pitch shoulder-high at Underhill. And he believes that we will see more Jewish footballers making it through the ranks.
"I've played against London Maccabi Lions Vets at Rowley Lane this season and know how well run all the Jewish leagues are. The standard is not always brilliant but there are some talented individuals out there. It won't be long before we see someone gracing the Premier League."
Looking at the top figures on the circuit, he said: "Michael Stone is a fantastic coach and Dean Furman is a great player. I'm sure we'll have more filtering through."
Indeed, Sunday will be a busy day with Grazioli's HMH third on the bill at Oldham. The first final sees Feldman Cup between Oakhill Lions and South Manchester Sports Club 2nd. Then it's the turn of the juniors as Lions U12s take on Glasgow Maccabi. HMH's match will be followed by the showpiece, the Peter Morrison Trophy.
There are also two Maccabi Masters' finals at Underhill with London Maccabi Lions taking on EDRS Stonegrove followed by double-chasing Brady Maccabi against Faithfold.
● Maccabi GB are holding their annual Ten-Pin Bowling tournament at the Airport Bowl on May 29. The event features a five-game qualifier, with the top eight scratch bowlers and top eight handicap bowlers going into two separate knockout finals.
● A hat-trick from player-manager Phil Peters helped Norstar A regain the Rose & Joe Silverstone Memorial Trophy. They beat Norstar Old Boys 3-1.
● Jake Furman scored an extra time winner in the Nottingham Varsity match at Meadow Lane.
