Ullmann delighted as Leeds break duck

Leeds Maccabi 3rd boss Alex Ullmann insists he never doubted his side would eventually claim that elusive win to break their MJSL duck.

Dan Davidson’s stunning hat-trick fired Leeds to their first victory of the season as Ullmann’s men defeated fellow strugglers Broughton 6-4 in a pulsating contest.

Leeds had taken just one point from their previous nine games before facing Broughton, but Ullmann says he always believed they would get to grips with the MJSL eventually.

“We know we have a formula to win games,” he said. “But with a squad engineered to introduce younger members to senior football, it rests solely on match experience to build confidence.
