Israel finished the night top of Group B following an impressive 3-0 victory over a 10-man Bosnia and Herzegovina team in Haifa on Sunday.
With rivals Belgium and Wales playing out a goalless draw earlier in the day, Eli Guttman's men rode their luck early on, against a Bosnia team missing star striker Edin Dzeko.
The visitors looked dangerous down the flanks and Israel were thankful for keeper Ofir Marciano for making a couple of important saves.
With the crowd behind them at the Sammy Ofer Stadium, Israel forged ahead after 36 minutes when a deflected strike from Gili Vermouth flew past Asmir Begovic.
Things got even better for the hosts, as Omer Damari doubled Israel's lead with the last kick of the first half following excellent work from Eran Zahavi. The goal saw Damari maintain his record of scoring in every qualifier this campaign.
Bosnia's fate was sealed just three minutes into the second half, when defender Sunjic was sent off for a professional foul on Damari. Israel wasted the resultant free-kick, but they managed a third goal on 70 minutes when Zahavi fired past Begovic.
The win saw Israel maintain their 100 per cent record in Group B and they go into home matches against Wales (March 28) and Belgium (March 31) in excellent shape.
