Crumpsall claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory in the basement battle against Westdene 2nd to climb above Oakhill in the Joan Collins Premier Division.

Ben Kayzer and Ben Burton dominated proceedings for Crumpsall’s, controlling the midfield and ensuring that the home side were unable to impose themselves on the game.

It was no surprise when Crumpsall capitalised on a poor clearance from Dan Caplan as they had an effort cleared off the line before Shiran Kramer picked up on the loose ball to score from a tight angle.

Shortly after it was 2-0, Shlomi Friedman tapping home at the far post with his left foot after a neat period of play from the visitors.
