A stunning late comeback from Hendon United B averted a shock in the Peter Morrison Trophy as they beat Catford & Bromley 8-4.

Joel Isaacs, Leo Brownstein, Craig Edwards and John Keller had put the Cats in a strong position. Hendon, who were missing eight regulars, lost their keeper after 15 minutes and played much of the tie with 10 men due to injuries, hit back through Gav Noe (3), Chaim Gothold (2), Amit Dinowitz, Gideon Lipman and Martin Smulovitch.

Cats boss Lester Jacob lamented: "I watched my team simply self-destruct to concede six goals in the last quarter."

London Maccabi Lions A returned to the top of the JC MSFL Premier Division after thumping South Manx 5-1 with goals from Lee Bibring, Michael Pearson, Motti Colman, Aviel Schwarz and an own goal.
