Four goals from Woodford Wanderers striker Jerome Marks helped Team GB successfully retain the Open football trophy at the European Maccabi Games as they finished the competition with a 100 per cent record after beating Costa Del Sol 7-3 in their final match.
North London Raiders pair Adam Posner and Nicky Woolf were also on target along with FC Team's Laurence Judah.
MATCH TWO
North London Raiders hotshot Nicky Woolf hit the winner as Team GB maintained their perfect start with a 1-0 win over Madrid.
Team GB ground out a hard-fought victory in their second game of the day, with the on-form Nicky Woolf scoring the only goal.
Madrid had the better of the first half and could have gone ahead after a one-on-one but a top class save from GB keeper Dan Lee kept the scores level.
However, the visitors hit back and after Nick Stern had broken down yet another Madrid attack, the ball was played in to Adam Posner who threaded the neatest of through balls into the path of Nicky Woolf who calmly finished into the bottom corner for a half-time lead.
Things got tougher for GB in the second half and playing their second game of the day was taking it's toll. Joe Cohen went close on a couple of occasions but it was Madrid who had the best chance of the match forcing another excellent save from the seemingly unbeatable Lee.
GB defended valiantly from front to back and the final whistle signalled the end of an impressive day. Two victories and six points putting the boys in a strong position to retain the trophy and keep the 100 per cent record intact.

MATCH ONE REPORT
Maccabi GB kicked off their EMFT campaign with an important 2-0 victory over the much fancied Germany.
In a match full of controversy, Team GB thought they had taken the lead 10 minutes in when Nick Stern had a header disallowed from an Adam Posner corner.
At half time, Jerome Marks and Joe Cohen were brought on and this addition of pace and creativity proved itself when Nicky Woolf, who hit nine in the team's two warm-up friendlies, chased down a Joel Lassman through ball and headed in the rebound after the German keeper had made a great save. However GB were denied the goal by the Spanish linesman for another offside.
GB were ordered to press higher up the pitch and Marks forced the German centre back into a mistake in his own area which Marks then pounced upon and banged the ball past the goalkeeper. A nervous glance at the linesman revealed no flag and the goal was given much to the delight of the Barmy Army.
And soon it was two: GB raised the tempo and pressurised the German keeper into another terrible mistake and rolled the ball into an empty net. Woolf was the scorer.
Jeff Gotch was brought on to steady the ship and GB played out the final 10 minutes to record an excellent victory, despite another goal - this time from Cohen - disallowed despite crossing the line by several feet from a speculative long shot.
Manager Phil Peters and his assistant Jamie Slavin were unavailable for comment after the game as preparations for this afternoon's kick off are already underway.

GB MASTERS TAKE GOLD
Ollie Olsen and Daniel Ruben helped GB Masters beat the reigning European champions 2-1 to lift the trophy.

GB Masters futsal beat Gibraltar 2-1 with goals from Adam Lennard and Paul Shamplina. They were much better than expected featuring a few players from their Open Rome Futsal side who have turned 35.
