South Manchester slumped to a 3 -0 home defeat which leaves them stranded mid table in the Accountants League Premier division.

Playing on a fantastic surface in beautiful conditions, they hardly strung a pass together for the whole game and did not register a single shot on target.

The first half was a sterile affair with both teams trying to win a physical battle with The Village edging the chances. South keeper Gary Brunen made a splendid point-blank save, whilst Mark Yaffe was the main source of attacking threat for South. Leon Huller had the only chance for South which he blazed over from 18 yards.

Manager Darryl Lee read the riot act at half time but it seemed to fall on deaf ears as the loss of possession in key areas continued.
