South Manchester Maccabi 1st got their Manchester Accountants Premier League campaign off to a flyer after thumping Vida 4-2. Goals from Mark Jaffe, David Chaytow, Harvey Kaye and Toby Levy put the icing on the cake in Darryl Lee's first competitive match as manager.

Manchester Maccabi 1st kicked off the season with a 3-2 home win over Houldsworth in the Thameside League Division One.

They came from behind with a sweeping four-man move involving Josh Rubin, Rafi Leeker and Andy Rosenberg allowing Adam Lavin to fire home. A chipped effort from Michael Sacks put Manchester ahead with good work from Rubin enabling Marc Woolfe to clinch the points.
