Two defeats in two weeks has turned South Manchester Sports' electric start into a slightly disappointing start.
Missing key players Michael Stratton, Mark Stewart, Ben Peppi and Mark Collins, South's young side fell one behind but responded just after half time through debutant Max Herman.
However, Lawds three men forward and grabbed two more, without response.
South Manchester boss Neil Collins said: "We weren't at the races today, and Lawds took advantage of that.
"It wasn't all negative, Max Herman coming up from the third team to score on his debut shows how fantastic the senior set up is working this year.
"With a week off next week, we will look to regroup and come back stronger."
