South Manchester Maccabi 2nd missed the chance to go clear at the top of the MJSL when they were thumped 4-1 by Republic of Mancunia.

A hat-trick from Rob Jacobs plus an own goal contributed to their downfall. Bobbie Cousins bagged a consolation.

Shiran Kraemer and David Joseph were on target as third-placed Broughton Park drew 2-2 with Manchester Maccabi 3rd.

Leeds J-New Uni hit 25 goals without reply in two games spread over five days. First, they hammered Oakhill Lions 12-0 with goals from Oli Grant (5), David Cohen (4), Sasha Nusenbaum (2) and Dan Pletan.
