South Manchester took a point from Manchester Falcons, the league leaders who had previously swept all before them, scoring 18 goals in four games.

The first half was a rugged affair with the best chance falling to Simon Davies who headed over when unmarked from a corner.

South had caused themselves problems losing the ball from a couple of their own set pieces but the back four stood firm.

The second half saw more attacking from both teams and only a fantastic defensive header from man of the match Darren Brewer kept South level.
