Cardiff AC runner Nathaniel Lane took the M35 bronze medal at the British and Irish Masters Cross Country International in Belfast. He completed the muddy 8km course in 27:34.
Lane said: "I was delighted with my performance. This bronze and winning the 2012 Run Wales Series has made the training and sacrifices worthwhile.
"I hope to use this as a springboard to a marathon in April or May."
Sam Shindler-Glass of Ealing, Southall & Middlesex AC placed fourth at the under-17 London Youth Games Cross Country Championships in Parliament Hill.
