Adam Lustigman expressed pride at WHAFC won the Fair Play award at the Jom Ha Voetbal competition in Amsterdam.

WHAFC started with solid goalless draws against BA Boys and Circumcizers. They were just moments away from claiming victory against Small Passy – courtesy of a strike from Ben Kay – only to concede in the final minute.

Having been drawn in the group of death in the 13-team event, they bowed out after defeats against eventual winners Koestjes en Kalfjes (3-0) and runners-up Brussel Tigers (7-0).

Lustigman said: "Winning the award came as a very nice surprise. I don’t recall us receiving any yellow cards although we rarely got close enough to the opposition to commit any fouls.
