Oakhill Lions provided further evidence they will be the team to beat in the MJSL this season.
The students, under new manager Daniel Rabinowitz, taught Maccabi Manchester Blue a real lesson after running out 6-1 winners.
With a host of young Maccabiah stars heading up north from London this season, Oakhill have recruited well. And they will almost certainly rivals Leeds Maccabi for the title.
Gal Rowenski bagged a hat-trick. Moses Seitler and Avi Libbert were also on target in the romp. Nathan Pitt’s strike for the visitors was scant consolation.
Rabinowitz said: "It was a stellar performance. Our new signimgs have come in and been superb. We have added in key areas and I can't ask more from my players.
"Moses Seitler, among our new faces, has changed the face of the team."
Meanwhile, Manchester Maccabi Yellow continue to lead the way despite their second successive crushing defeat against Reich Insurance Rangers.
Reich turned the table upside down with Joseph Mann’s four-goal haul and Benji Harris stunning the hosts.
It got worse for Anton Radiven’s men as winger Sammy Dennison was red carded for dissent just before the break.
Radiven would have been thankful his 10-men held out throughout the second-half.
He said: "We need to get back to basics and remember what we did right at the start of the season."
