Sawdaye and Stein looking to put Girls Football back on the map

Nicole Sawdaye insists the Team GB under-18 squad can make a big impact in the Girls Football competition at next summer’s Maccabiah Games.

Sawdaye, who will be assisted by Liam Stein, has managed GB squads at several JCC Maccabi Games, while Stein guided the U14 Boys team to gold at the same event last year.

Sawdaye said: “With such a huge rise in the number of girls playing football in Great Britain, I am excited by the prospect of selecting a strong squad of players and working with them to create a unified team going into the Games next summer.

"We are looking to make a name for ourselves on the international scene, having not been at a major tournament for some years
