Hendon were made to scrap during the first half but they settled after a header from Ari Nevies broke BFR's resistance. And when Jordan Mizrahi scored from a cross-shot it gave them some breathing space.

Rovers hauled themselves back in the game via a penalty from the in-form Dan Cohen, after defender Simon Peterman was adjudged to have handled when attempting a  goal-line clearance in a rare opening for the home side.
