Rising star Rosie Chapman has set her sights on gold at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Chapman, 21, officially unveiled her campaign ‘Going for Gold’ to members of the High (Chai) Seas Sailing Club, as guest of honour.

The British Laser Radial dinghy sailor has been a member of the UK’s only Jewish sailing club for two years. Talking about her aims for London, she said: “I have wanted to win an Olympic gold from the age of 12. To represent team GB in home waters is everyone on the team’s dream. I want to make it a reality and take nothing less.”

Commodore of the club and former Maccabi GB chairman, Sandy Riegler, expressed thanks to Rosie and urged club members to stand united behind her campaign and to raise her profile as a potential Jewish Olympian.
