EUROPA LEAGUE PLAYOFF FIRST LEG
Dudelange 1 Hapoel Tel Aviv 3

Hapoel Tel Aviv are in pole position to reach the group stages of the Europa League after cruising to victory against Dudelange in Luxembourg.

The Israeli giants had the match wrapped inside 26 first-half minutes. The visitors got off to a dream start when Dudelange's Jean-Phillipe Cadet put through his own net after just four minutes and the lead was doubled when Tal Ben Haim converted from the penalty spot.

Aurelin Joachim pulled one back for Dudelange, but Elroy Cohen restored Hapoel's two-goal cushion by making it 3-1 midway through the half to give the Israelis three away goals to take into next week's second leg at the Bloomfield Stadium.
