Rusty Flixton grind out victory

AFC Flixton returned to the top of the Accounts Premier Division – after a seven-week break from action.

Joint-boss Tony Rosenberg claimed the table-toppers were rusty after running out winners over PWC.

Jordan Keeling was among the goalscorers as Flixton ended a long wait to play due a string of postponements due to the adverse weather conditions.

Rosenberg said: “We were well off the pace. It was a like a pre-season game and it was very frustrating watching from the sidelines.
