Anton Radiven expects the rest of the MJSL to now be taking surprise table-toppers Maccabi Manchester Yellow seriously.
Radiven’s side continue to lead the way after edging out South Manchester 3rds in a seven-goal thriller.
Moishe Hasid was the hat-trick hero with Jonny Rashman also netting.
The visitors did not have it their own way as Yoel Levy (2) and player-manager Mike Herz left the game on a knife-edge.
Radiven said: “Our position at this stage proves it is no fluke. We are up there on merit. Whether we can stay there I don’t know, but we will be giving it our best shot.
"Nobody expected this so we are enjoying it. I know teams will give us more respect now in the way they set-up. We are proving a strong side."
Maccabi Manchester Yellow face another test of their credentials when they face Leeds Maccabi.
The champions demomished the leaders 4-0 earlier this season but Radiven is aiming for revenge in the rematch.
He said: “They deserved that win when they played us. It was a wake-up call. But we have learned our lessons from that day. We will be gunning for a different result."
