Republic of Mancunia bounced back from last weekend's devastating defeat by title rivals Manchester Maccabi 3rd by booking their place in the final of the Shonn Trophy.

With their dream of a first league title looking all but dead, Anthony Bloch's boys produced the perfect riposte to set up a final clash against Haroldeans following a 4-1 win over Sporting JLGB.

After last week's setback, Bloch demanded a response from his side and they showed their class as they cruised past Sporting with ease.

Mike Gastwirth scored twice, while a Darren Loofe free-kick and a Paul Basger penalty sealed the win with Rafi Bloom netting a consolation for Sporting.
