The JC MSFL has lost another team after first division Red Sea folded.

Following in the footsteps of Glenthorne United A, Bafana Bafana, AC Cricklewood, North West Neasden C and South Manx B, Red Sea withdrew after five years in the league which is now down to 49 teams.

Red Sea chairman Daniel Wynne said: “We have not been able to field a team for a few weeks now and have incurred a number of fines in the last two months, effectively bankrupting the club.

“We lost a lot of players to retirement through the start of this season and failed to recruit sufficient dedicated cover.
