Provincial delight for Leeds and Hartsbourne

Leeds Jewish Golf Society claimed the top prize at the Provincial competition.

They won the Gerald Tankel Trophy for the team with lowest aggregate of four net scores counting, gaining a narrow victory over Moor Allerton who secured the Joe Dwek Trophy.

Marshall Newman of Moor Allerton returned a score of 74 gross to win the Mervyn Berg Trophy.

Ian Land of Leeds Jewish Golf Society secured the Marshall Bellow Trophy for the best net with a score of 70, edging out Paul Earp by one shot, with Earp receiving the Martin Caller Trophy.
