First-half strikes from Vincent Aboubakar and Yacine Brahimi condemned Maccabi Tel Aviv to their third consecutive Champions League defeat in Group G.
The Israel champions, who have yet to score in the group stages, were outclassed by the former winners in Portugal on a night when the hosts hardly broke sweat.
Maccabi held on until the 37th minute when Aboubakar rifled home and there was no way back as Porto maintained their unbeaten run in the competition this season.
Led out by the youngest captain in UEFA Champions League history in Rúben Neves – at 18 years 221 days - Porto doubled their advantage four minutes later to clinch the points and the team's on a 20 consecutive success in all competitions to finish Matchday 3 top of the Group.
Eran Zahavi and Dor Peretz spurned Maccabi's best chances in a game where their goal led a charmed life, with the experienced Tal Ben Haim turning a cross against his own post after the restart and Bruno Martins Indi somehow directing a cross over the bar from inside the six-yard box.
Maccabi manager Slavisa Jokanovic said: "We cannot be happy about not winning the game, but we showed some progress.
"It's still not enough for this level. We didn't let them create many chances at some moments of the game. Generally my team stick to the plan and did what we wanted on the pitch, and I expect us to keep improving.
"We have to be satisfied with our progress. I want to get nine points out of the next three matches."
