More competition and PB successes came from Hannah Viner, 22, who set a new 5,000m PB of 16:32.82 at BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) in Bedford, as well as a road 5K of 16.36 in Ipswich.
Emma Taylor, 18, finished in third place at the Reading YDL with a 600g javelin PB of 33.01, gaining her a new national ranking. Maayan Radus, 14, won the U17 3,000m in 10:37.80, also in Reading, while Sam Greenstein was runners-up in the U15 1,500m at the Watford open with a PB of 4:27.30.
At the Israeli track championships, another national record was broken when U23 Tedesa Gethon won the 10,000m in 28:21.9, also the fourth fastest time in the Israeli all-time rankings. In an unprecedented display of strength in depth at the meeting, the first 14 men all completed the race in under 30 minutes.
