Swimmer Inbal Pezaro has won Israel's third medal of the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

It had looked as though Pezaro might be coming home empty-handed after finishing fourth in the 100m breaststroke and fifth in the 50m freestyle earlier in the week.

But she pushed hard to touch home for bronze in the 200m individual medley She finished with a time of 3:38:20 behind Norway's Sarah Louise Rung 3:15:83 and Spain's Teresa Perales 3:36:14.

Despite the medal, Pezaro expressed disappointment at her overall performance in Rio. "I feel that I missed out," she said. "I didn't succeed in bringing out my full ability and that frustrates me.
