A hat-trick from Connor Perlmutter guided Lions Blue towards three precious point to send Woodford closer to relegation after a six-goal thriller in Arkley.

On a crisp and sunny Sunday morning, Lions welcomed Premier League newcomers to Woodford Wanderers. The first half was a tight affair with Lions coming up against the wind and glare of the sun, which proved to be cause some issues for the back four of Green, Peters, Lipton and Kosky.

Perlmutter forced the first chance, picking up the ball on the edge of the box and forcing the keeper to tip a well struck effort over the bar.
