Shahar Peer will face 14th seed Sabine Lisicki of Germany after breezing through the first round at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Shahar Peer eased past first-round opponent Isabella Holland of Australia 6-2, 6-0.

Dudi Sela tumbled out of the men’s singles with a straight sets defeat against Thomaz Bellucci of Brazil.
